Shelley is a CPA in northwest Arkansas who loves to go hiking and backpacking with her husband. She has written about many of their outings on her blog — “A Hiking We Will Go.”We’re excited about Shelley being here to share some of her hiking adventures with us.

Arkansas Hiking Blogs

I think it is cool to find others who are doing blogs about their hiking adventures.

Here are a couple of new Arkansas hiking blogs you should check out:

  • A Hiking We Will Go — A blog by Shelley with photos and descriptions of her hikes, mostly in northwest Arkansas.
  • Mid South Hiking — A blog by Jeff with some cool photos of his recent hikes in northwest Arkansas.

Thumbs Up to GPS Visualizer

You may have noticed some recent improvements in the (Google) gpx trail maps and elevation charts here on ArklahomaHiker.org.

I have been able make much nicer-looking and more versatile gpx trail maps and also better gpx elevation charts thanks to GPS Visualizer, a free website created by Adam Schneider.Using GPS Visualizer, I hope to eventually upgrade all the gpx trail maps here on the site.
