Tim Ernst is currently in the midst of his 2011 fall program tour. Ernst is the author of many great trail guides including: Arkansas Hiking Trails, Buffalo River Hiking Trails, Ozark Highlands Trail Guide, and Ouachita Trail Guide. He is also an acclaimed photographer.

I had the opportunity to see Ernst’s program today at the Fayetteville Public Library. It was my first time to see him in person, and it was a very enjoyable program. The primary feature is Ernst’s 2011 slide show, mostly featuring photos from his new Arkansas Portfolio III picture book and his updated Arkansas Waterfalls guide.
